about the forum
Every year on 11 February, we celebrate World Day of the Sick. As part of this celebration, we have been continuously organising the Patients' Organisations Forum for 19 years. It is an event that brings together more than 200 organisations from all over Poland and numerous guests from different sectors.
The Forum is the largest and longest running conference aimed at the community of patient organisations representing patients in various therapeutic areas. As a result, the Forum provides an effective platform for the exchange of experiences between organisations working in different areas of healthcare and fosters discussion on systemic solutions to improve patients' quality of life.
The next edition will take place on 10-11 February 2025 in Warsaw.

European Patients' Organisations Forum 2025
The FOP 2025 conference will coincide not only with World Sick Day, but also with the Polish Presidency of the European Union. This unique combination makes the upcoming Forum particularly important on the international stage. Leaders of patient organisations from across Europe will meet in Warsaw to discuss the impact of internal and external factors on health systems and other key challenges such as population ageing, migration, epidemiological risks and the impact of environmental pollution on public health.
The Patient Organisations Forum is an important event during the Polish Presidency of the European Union, bringing together efforts for better health and greater involvement of the patient community in shaping health policy. The meeting will be a platform for intensive discussions and exchange of experiences aimed at creating new and more effective ways of dealing with global health challenges. The participation of public health experts, policy makers and patient organisation leaders underlines the international dimension and importance of the event.
